Recommendations for reporting on osteoporosis and its treatment

Introduction:

These recommendations outline how to talk about and describe osteoporosis and its treatment. They were initially designed for journalists, and informed by research which explored how osteoporosis is represented in UK online and print newspapers. The recommendations were co-designed with patients and other relevant stakeholders informed by research findings. Although the recommendations were initially targeted at journalists they may be relevant to anyone talking or writing about osteoporosis.
