What does evidence-base resource mean?

We use ‘evidence-based’ to describe an output of research findings.

‘Resources’ mean any information, tool or communication aid. Examples include information leaflets, videos, webinars, podcasts, clinical forms, decision aids and questionnaires. These resources complement the range of patient and healthcare professional resources available on the Royal Osteoporosis Society website.

Bitesize clinical guides are also included resources. These are summary lists or flowcharts from published clinical guidelines and/or expert consensus statements. More information can be found here.

We welcome submissions from researchers across the UK who would like to apply to ERO for adoption of their evidence-based resources.
More information can be found on the researcher page.
